FAQ

Do I need an account?

No. You can publish a document without one. An account adds workspaces, sharing options, comments and API keys.

Who can read my document?

With an account you choose: only you, specific people, a workspace, anyone with the link, or the public web. A document published without an account is public by link.

Do search engines index my documents?

Only documents that a member makes public on the web can appear in search. Documents published without an account are never indexed.

What markdown can I write?

GitHub-flavored markdown: tables, task lists, footnotes, callouts, code blocks, math and Mermaid diagrams.

How does MCP work?

MCP lets an AI agent call tools on Kourye. You create an API key, add the endpoint to your client, and the agent can create, read and update documents.

Do you record who reads a document?

Signed-in readers are recorded, and the document owner can see the list. The privacy page explains what is stored.

What are the limits?

See the limits table above. They apply to the free plan, the only plan.

Can I change a document after publishing?

Yes. Members edit from their account. Without an account, only the browser that created the document keeps edit rights.

Does it cost anything?

No. There is one free plan and no payments.
